DATTA ACT is the professional association for teachers of technology from Preschool through to Year 12 in the ACT. Membership is drawn from all sectors including special education and from both government and non-government schools.

The Institute of Industrial Arts Technology Education is the key body providing professional leadership in the Technology Education area with specific focus on the Industrial Arts, on Engineering, Technology and Design learning in New South Wales schools. 

INTAD is an association for the Industrial Technology and Design Teachers of Queensland, years 1 to 12. The role of the association is to represent and assist industrial technology and design teachers in the research and development of curriculum programs and to provide professional development for teachers in Queensland schools.
